Our annual post-Christmas party will be held this Saturday.

Admission is $25.00 per person at the door.

The Menu will be:

Chopped Steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions served with a burgundy demi sauce

Grilled Herb Seasoned Chicken breast served with a white wine mushroom sauce

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Green Beans with bacon and onions

House dinner salad

Dinner roll & butter

Cookies & Brownies for dessert

Choice of non-alcoholic beverage

Meal to be served buffet-style on a double-sided table setup.

Our annual post-Christmas party will be held on the second Saturday in January ( January 14 ) at our usual meeting place downstairs at the Lucky Brewgrille ( 5401 Johnson Drive, Mission, KS 66205-2912 ) at 6:30 P.M.  Admission is $25.00 per person at the door.

If any of our members have items to donate to the door prize collection please bring them with you to the party. 

As is tradition, the HOAME club will have a ride to meet at Le Peep Restaurant (7936 Quivira Road) on New Years Day

Plan to meet around 7:30 am.

The December 2011 HoAME monthly meeting will be Wednesday, December 14th (7:30 pm).

Club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at The Lucky Brewgrille, 5401 Johnson Drive in Mission, Kansas. Meetings begin at 7:30 downstairs. Come earlier for dinner. Meetings are informal, held together most of the time by our honorable President. We talk about events, rides, race results, crashes, and occasionally watch a video or listen to an invited speaker.

The November 2011 HoAME monthly meeting will be Wednesday, November 9th (7:30 pm).

Schuberth Helmets.

Randy is General Manager for North America, and is based out of Schuberth’s headquarters in Aliso Viejo, California.

Randy will present a program on Schubert helmets — really everything you’ve ever wanted to know about motorcycle helmets — how they’re made, why they pick the materials they do, testing, fit, etc.

It’s time again. Ralph Wayne’s Backyard National (Vintage Motorcycle Show) takes place the first Saturday of October (October 1st).

Much more than a vintage motorcycle show, Ralph’s is the coolest motorcycle event to see and be seen. Held in a residential neighborhood, motorcycles are found on several blocks all around.

If you have been before, you know this is a must-do event. If you have never been, don’t miss your opportunity to participate in the largest motorcycle block party around.

Free beer and food provided (Donations accepted). HoAME is pleased to help sponsor this event

The 2011 H.O.A.M.E. Club picnic will be held Saturday September 24th. at the city park located at 103rd. and Marty inside the shelter house behind the tennis courts.

The party starts at 12:00 p.m. A pre-picnic ride will start from Cyclops Cycle Products located at 5435 Merriam Drive Shawnee Mission KS. leaving at 9:00 a.m. and arriving at the park at around 12:00. With time being so short if You plan to attend you should IMMEDIATELY RSVP Tina and Doug so they can plan for the amount of food needed.

Hope everyone is managing to stay cool during this oppressive heat wave. Come join us at the Lucky Brewgrille at 7:30 this Weds. night to share your great ride reports. Hope to see you there!
